The parade will showcase a variety of horses and disciplines, including Standardbreds, Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Arabs, Quarterhorses, Western Reining, Mini Horse & Chuckwagons, Endurance Racing, and more. Erin Fair has been chosen by the Canadian Racing Hall of Fame, as one of the 250 sites across Canada to participate in this legendary race, which will culminate at the 2017 Royal Winter Fair in Toronto.
Horses are everywhere at the Erin Fair, and there’s lots to do all weekend. Check out our list of equine classes which include heavy horse pulls and shows, gaited ponies, hunter/jumper competition, Ontario Barrel-racing, and the open horse show (novice and recreational horses). Visit the Budson’s Equine Tent featuring educational displays, breed presentations, and real, live horses. The Town of Erin will have a booth in the Equiine Tent offering horse owners information on trail and road safety, equine art & photography, and a chance to win great prizes.
