50 years ago, Northern Dancer took the racing world by storm as the first Canadian bred and owned horse to win the Kentucky Derby.  The horse that nobody wanted as a yearling, overcame a late birthdate and small stature to not only become a magnificent racehorse but one of the greatest Thoroughbred sires of all times.
